GEFRAN GFX4 Temperature Control Module
The Gefran GFX-4 temperature control module is an important component in the TEMPCOM Extruder Control System. The GFX-4 Module controls four independent temperature control loops with the following components:
4 PID Temperature Controllers (Heat-Cool)
4 Solid State Relays
4 Fuses
4 Current Transformers
This innovative control design is DIN rail mountable and significantly reduces panel space and wiring inter-connect between components. It can be configured for both single or three phase and uses MODBUS communications to provide critical control information to the TEMPCOM operator interface screen.
TEMPCOM - PLC + HMI – All in One
The TEMPCOM interface is a combination Programmable Logic Controller and Human Machine Interface all in one unit. It has two serial and one ETHERNET port to perform communications to the Gefran GFX-4 Temperature Control Modules as well as interface to Yaskawa AC drives. In addition, remote I/O modules allow interface to such things as pressure transducers and allows for system flexibility. It is available in a 10.4” screen or a 12.1” screen.
